Enjoy nature at its best on our Afternoon Nature Cruise. We’ll cruise past Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse and experience the outer islands of Blue Hill Bay up close and personal—from ledges where seals sun and swim, to small islands with nesting birds and ducks. When the porpoises are running or the eagles are hunting, we’ll be sure to stop to give our passengers a real treat. Learn about Maine’s history, learn the fishing industry from an insider, haul a few lobster traps, and take in the incomparable beauty of the Maine coast.

The Afternoon Nature Cruise takes place onboard the R.L. Gott, a 40-foot lobster boat. Even though she has never seen commercial fishing duty, she gives her passengers an authentic lobster boat experience in a comfortable atmosphere. She seats up to 49 passengers and crew in both covered and outdoor seating. The boat’s perfect size and seating options allow passengers more opportunities to see wildlife and other highlights on the tour.
