Enjoy a Puffin/Seal Tour on the Quietside of Acadia!
We cruise past Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse and isolated Duck Island light up close and personal — visit where seals sun and swim and puffins and sea birds feed and nest. When the porpoises are swimming or the eagles are hunting, we make sure to stop to give our passengers a real treat. This tour on the Quietside is the best way to see Acadia National Park from the water.
Important information: Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time, and be sure to check in to our ticket office before boarding the boat. Bringing a jacket or sweater is recommended, even on warm days. Seating is general admission, and we are often fully booked, so large parties especially should come early to sit together. We cannot allow pets onboard tours. Occasionally, we must cancel a trip due to inclement weather, more often in the spring and fall. We will use your mobile contact number and email address to contact you no less than an hour before departure for cancellations. Usually at least 24 hours prior. Please be sure to check emails and texts from Island Cruises.
